About this Course

Join Richard for a fabulous Chinese Year of the Pig workshop to celebrate the lunar New Year. Learn how to create a very cute & beautiful pig painting on Japanese art paper using Chinese brush and Western techniques in a relaxed, fun and fully supported atmosphere (image attached is sample only). All levels welcome. Beginners are especially encouraged. (Bring your own supplies OR rent a kit from the instructor in class for an extra $5. Richard Wong is a professional wildlife artist and instructor with international credentials. Watercolour supplies required: -Winsor Newton artist quality paint tubes, available at Opus, ArtWorld, Island Blue Print, Michaels -palette -Chinese brush -8x10” masa paper -watercolour spray bottle -pen & pencil A required $2.5 extra fee covers the cost of handouts. Chinese brushes, masa paper & spray bottles will be available to purchase directly from instructor in class if needed.
