About this Course

This class is intended for participants who have previously made cold process soap. Put your Soap-Making 101 skills to good use in this follow-up workshop! Learn new pouring techniques and use additional colour combinations to create a unique custom soap loaf. Using environmentally and socially conscious ingredients, you will work with a certified aromatherapist to choose scents and colours to make your own 2lb soap loaf and take home 5 bars of your very own handcrafted soap. You will leave with your customized soap, a recipe, instructions, and a reusable mold. You will learn important safety protocols and how to choose responsibly-sourced ingredients to make soap that is safe for sensitive skin and easy on the earth. We will be working with vegan and palm oil-free recipes as well a selection of essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances. A mandatory $30 materials fee covers the cost of all materials.
