About this Course

Welcome to Pilates Principles, where the focus is on foundational elements of Pilates to help build a strong, balanced body. This class is designed to introduce participants to the core principles of Pilates, including alignment, core engagement, breath control, and precision of movement. When the exercises are done correctly and efficiently, the body looks and performs in amazing ways! Through a series of carefully structured exercises, participants will learn the fundamental techniques that underpin the Pilates method which increase blood flow and vitality. Emphasis will be placed on proper form and alignment to ensure correct muscles are engaged and a deeper awareness of the body is developed. Whether new to Pilates or looking to refine your technique, this class will provide participants with the tools to enhance a practice and achieve greater strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Please bring your own mat and towel.
